A passionate supporter

and trained infant feeding consultant

My family and I experienced the importance of skilled and peer to peer support during my own feeding journeys. This led to a desire to support others and an ongoing interest in learning as much as possible about infant feeding.

Since first training as an infant feeding peer supporter in 2021, I have supported many families, often ongoing throughout their time feeding their children and beyond in a more emotional capacity.

I have also informally donated my breast milk to several families, as well as become the first official donor for Southampton Milk Bank on the Isle of Wight and am a huge advocate for milk donors and recipients.

Feeding your way

Unbiased and judgement free

I feel strongly about families being able to access unbiased, evidence-based, judgement-free information and support.

Whilst my lived experience is of breastfeeding, I strive to ensure families who need or choose to use formula or donated breast milk are also able to get support.
“It is clear there is an assumption that everyone just knows how to bottle feed or use formula and that those doing so don’t require any input like those breastfeeding do”.
Through my work with families, it has become clear that this very much isn’t the case and everyone needs support at some point regardless of the feeding method.

Testimonials

Let's Talk

Through my work with families, the importance of a safe space, a kind listening ear and emotional support has really shone through and these are just as valuable as practical support.

Support from me is usually offered in the comfort of your own home where partners, friends and family are all welcome to join. It’s an opportunity for families to receive information and support that is completely tailored and allows for open discussion, questions and a safe space to talk about feeding your baby.

There is no specific agenda or content. The service is offered on an hourly basis, so the support can be tailored to you. I recommend contacting me in advance to briefly discuss the topics you’re interested in. I also include on-going support via WhatsApp.
