About
Hi, I'm Chloe
Supporter, educator, mother
Slings for support
In 2020, I became a mum to my daughter, Mariella, just weeks before the first lockdown. At that time, there was no sling consultant or local nappy library on the island, and like many parents, I had to rely on YouTube videos and online groups for support. With no in-person help available, I struggled with postnatal anxiety during that first year. Babywearing became a lifeline for me, helping me cope day to day. That experience inspired me to train as a sling consultant so I could support other families - not only to save money (and frustration) on unsuitable carriers, but also to find comfort and connection that can make a real difference to postnatal mental health.
Cloth bum Mum
Cloth nappies were another challenge. The online advice was full of jargon and felt overwhelming, but I discovered the support of a nappy library - which I later took on myself to make sure that service remained available locally. This grew out of my determination to make more environmentally conscious choices as a new parent. My experience and training lead to the creation of Carrying and Cloth, offering services and support for all things slings and cloth nappies.
With the right guidance, every journey - birth, feeding, or parenting - can feel positive, supported and uniquely yours.
Food for thought
Feeding brought its own set of struggles. After facing difficulties with Mariella, I trained in infant feeding support. Over time, I began helping friends and parents I met through the sling library - especially those processing feeding trauma. Sometimes, what people need most is simply a safe space to debrief, process their experiences, and find a way forward with confidence.
Ever the Advocate
When my second daughter, Etta, was born, I had already learned so much from my first journey. Still, I encountered new pressures within the maternity system. That experience led me to train fully as a doula. I wanted to deepen my knowledge of birth preparation so I could help parents feel informed, confident, and in control while ensuring their partners felt equipped to advocate for them. With the right preparation, I was able to have a truly positive birth experience, and that’s exactly what I want to help others achieve.
For me, it’s not about whether you plan a home birth or have a caesarean, whether you breastfeed or bottle feed. What matters is that you feel supported, respected, and confident in your choices. A third of women experience birth trauma - not because of the outcomes, but because of a system that often overlooks emotional wellbeing. My mission is to change that by supporting families to prepare, advocate for themselves and feel empowered every step of the way.

Wild Mama's at Forever Wild at Heart
I’m a strong believer in the power of nature to heal, support, and bring us back into connection - with ourselves and with others. I feel incredibly proud to be able to share this through my work with Forever Wild at Heart CIC.
Each month, I hold a trauma-informed, safe, and nurturing space for mothers inside a beautiful woodland bell tent. These gatherings are about so much more than a baby group or a casual coffee. They’re a chance to slow down, to be truly held and heard, and to connect with others in an atmosphere of warmth and authenticity.
Open to all mothers with children of primary age and under, these sessions offer a calm and supportive space to rest, to connect, and to be part of a small, intimate circle of like-minded women. It’s a place where you can feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported.
